It has taken a very long time but I finally decided to get one of the Urban Decay Naked palettes. It was a hard decision since I could not see the palettes in person before purchasing, but, based on lots of research and recommendations, I chose Naked 2 over the first Naked palette. I’m very cool toned and tend to shy away from very dark shadow colours so Naked 2 is perfect.
I received the palette in the mail today and wanted to take pictures before using it. In the future, once I get a chance to try out and form an opinion on the palette, I will make separate posts with swatches and a full review.
Please comment on this post to let me know if you prefer Naked or Naked 2.
Hope you enjoy the photos!

A couple of months ago I got the Naked one palette! I never thought that I would get both since they are quite similar, but now that I've used the Naked 1 palette pretty much every single day, they look completely different.. I am sooo tempted :)
ReplyDeleteYou should do a tutorial !
Thank-you :) I'm hoping to see Naked 1 in person someday to see if I need it too.
DeleteSo pretty! I still don't have this but want it more and more Everytime I see it!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the first Naked palette?
Deleteyey you! I don't own any of the Naked palettes but when I googled it before, I think I prefer the first one. It's more shimmery and light. I guess Naked is for spring/summer and Naked 2 is for fall/winter
ReplyDeleteEveryone kept telling me that the first one has much darker colours than NAKED 2 so I avoided the first one. I have never seen it in person though so I'm not sure how they compare :)
DeleteI have the first Naked palette which works for me and my medium skin tone so as much as I love the packaging of Naked 2, I just don't feel like I need another palette that has very similar colours...my fiance even saw them side by side and was like,"Aren't those the same thing??" Point taken ;-)
ReplyDeletelol! If they are that similar than one is probably enough :)
DeleteJust catching up on all your posts now hah!:) I love this palette soooo much! Honestly if I had I think I would wear it every day.
ReplyDeleteIt look so versatile! :)
DeleteNaked 2!!! I really want to try this, I love shimmery neutral colors so much! It looks like it came with a pretty good brush too! Love your blog, new follower xoxo
