Magnetic Nail Polish Review and Demo

I have always wanted to try out the magnetic nail polish. Recently I had the opportunity to try this pretty purple magnetic polish ( http://www.bornprettystore.com/magic-magnetic-nail-polish-magnet-plate-nl012-p-2592.html ) from bornprettystore.com that is very affordable at a price around $6. It comes with its own magnet and extra magnet designs are only $2 each. I also have a coupon code that will give you 10% off site wide: BEAUTY4K31
I really enjoyed using this polish. The colour is a gorgeous, rich purple with some shimmer. The magnet created an elegant striped pattern that made my nails look like they had been done at a salon.

*this is NOT a sponsored review. I was sent the product to try but I am not being compensated for the review and all opinions expressed in the review are honest and are my own. the coupon code was provided by the company for my subscribers to use--I do not receive any compensation if the code is used*

April Glymm Box

This month’s Glymm Box came with 3 very tiny samples and one full sized product.
For those of you who do not know what Glymm is, it is a service similar to Loose Button, Birchbox, Topbox, Glossy Box, etc. which offers monthly boxes of deluxe size product samples. Current subscription services are $10 monthly and $110 for 12 months (prices include shipping). Just like last month, I really enjoyed this month’s box—it was definitely worth the $10.

April Topbox

This month’s Topbox was a bit disappointing for me because at least 50% of it was face makeup which I don’t really use. That said, it did come with a really nice bottle of Misa nail polish.
For those of you who do not know what Topbox is, it is a service similar to Loose Button, Glymm, Birchbox, Glossybox, etc., which offers monthly boxes of deluxe size product samples. Topbox currently offers its services across Canada for $10 per month with no shipping costs. For more information check out topbox.ca

NEW Brow and Lash Brushes from Sigma !!!!

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know about two new brushes from Sigma.

First there is the E75 Angled Brow Brush - This firm, angled brush is perfect for filling in sparse brows with powder or gel products. It has synthetic bristles and it is only $11! Personally I would also try using this to apply a very thin line of gel or cream liner on my top lashline.

The other brush is the E80 Brow and Lash Brush – This is an essential grooming tool for brows and lashes. Ideal for combing and taming brow hairs while shaping and filling. Great for pulling through lashes for separation and exactness. This brush also has synthetic bristles and it only costs $9!

NOTD: Essie Fiji

I’m always on the search for an opaque pastel pink cream-finish polish. Many of you have recommended that I try Fiji by Essie and I thought that spring was the perfect season to do so.

The polish is a beautiful milky pink shade with maybe a slight hint of lavender. While it is fairly opaque, I found the formula a bit thick and streaky. As a result, I had to apply 3 coats to ensure that the colour applied evenly. Once it dried, I was quite happy with the results and have no doubts that I will get a lot of use out of this polish. It gives the nails a very clean, polished look that is very versatile.
