Inexpensive Caviar Nails

As you may already know, the latest nail trend is “caviar nails”. A few months ago, a brand called Ciaté stocked Sephora shelves with its caviar manicure set which includes a little jar of micro beads and a polish in a corresponding colour. The set retails for $25. In my opinion, this price is quite expensive for such a small amount of product; not to mention, this trend could easily fizzle out within months, or even weeks.

Luckily, I have found a comparable product that is inexpensive and contains a lot more “caviar” beads.

The set is from bornprettystore.com and comes with 12 jars of coloured beads. While it does not include a nail colour, I assume that if you are reading this post you already own at least one bottle of nail polish. With the choice of 12 different colors, it will be easy for you to match the beads with the shades of polish that you already own. At around $5.50, this set, which can be found here, http://www.bornprettystore.com/colors-steel-ball-glitter-nail-decoration-p-516.html is very affordable. I also have a coupon code that will give you 7% off site wide: BEAUTY4K31

For the coloured base, I used Malia from Zoya (purple) and For Audrey from China Glaze (Tiffany Blue).

What do you think of this trend?
