NOTD: Julep Fifi

Julep Fifi

I received Fifi in Julep’s Cupid’s Mystery Clutch that was available around Valentine’s Day. As soon as I opened the package, Fifi is the polish that first caught my eye since I love to wear pastel pink shades on my nails.

Julep describes this colour as a tea time pink creme. It has a bit more white in it than other pale pinks that I normally wear such as Butter London Teddy Girl, Essie No Baggage Please, and Essie Fiji. This polish gives the nails a very clean look without appearing as bold as a plain white.

The formula is thick like most Julep polishes, and it was a bit difficult to work with. The first two coats were streaky, but the third coat evened everything out. I was very happy with the final result and received lots of compliments on this colour. This colour is perfect for daily wear and would also look chic for a formal night out.

I was able to wear this polish for a full week without and chips or tip wear. I used a top coat, but the polish looks very glossy on its own without one.

Overall, I recommend this shade for those who love a classic pink polish and don’t mind being a bit patient with the formula.
