Review: ModCloth Cat Person Circle Scarf in Mint

Modcloth Cat Person Circle Scarf in Mint 2

As I have already mentioned in previous posts, I’m kind of a cat lady. However, I try very hard to be a classy cat lady when it comes to purchasing cat-themed accessories made for humans by avoiding anything too cartoonish or childish.

About a year ago, while shopping on modcloth.com, I came across this cute, yet adult appropriate, cat scarf and made it my very first purchase from ModCloth. Little did I know that it was only the first purchase of many and that ModCloth would become my favourite place to buy vintage-inspired dresses.

Although the Cat Person Circle Scarf is decorated with many black cat silhouettes, the cats look classy and adult-appropriate. It’s hard to tell from far away but the picture below shows that the cats are not just a flat print but are textured and made of a different material than the rest of the scarf. They almost feel like velvet.

The mint colour also makes this scarf ideal for those who want to honour their appreciation for cats while still looking modern and chic (at the moment it also comes in white and wine). I especially like the black and mint combination because it reminds me of my Cat Inspired Nail Art. The scarf's length is very impressive as well since I can wrap the scarf around my neck twice without it looking too long or too short. It sits comfortably and stays in place.

Aside from this scarf, ModCloth also carries dresses, skirts, shirts, shoes and other accessories and home decor featuring classy cat designs. Of course they also have many other items that are not cat-themed. My favourites are the unique dresses and colourful cardigans, but I’ll save those for another post.

What do you think of this cat scarf? Would you wear it? If so, which colour is your favourite?

  1. That is adorable! I'm a cat lover too and struggle to find pieces that show my appreciation for my feline friends without being too "crazy cat lady"! Haha!
