September 2015 Glossybox

September 2015 Glossybox 2

The September Glossybox* welcomes the first month of fall with fashion forward products for creating a head to toe glow. While the August box included products that focused on achieving an effortless end-of-summer look, the products in this month’s box add a radiant glow with wearable shades that are on trend for autumn.

The first three products in the September box are cosmetic items that enhance lips, cheeks, and nails with pretty fall nudes.

Julep Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment soothes, hydrates, and plumps lips with its Vitamin E and pumpkin seed oil formula. It has a cooling metal tip applicator that adds to the luxurious experience of applying this product. After a long, hot summer this is just what my lips need! Boxes this month either included one of these Julep glosses or a lipstick from Stiks Cosmetics. I have always been a huge fan of Julep, so I’m happy to have received this product. Not to mention, I received the shade Sheer Coral which is my type of colour. Although the gloss looks hot pink in the photo below, it's more of a muted pinky coral.

For a radiant complexion, the Emite Makeup Artist Colour Powder Blush is infused with intense pigments to create a natural glow. This peach-toned blush will flatter many skin tones and add warmth to the skin as the temperature outside begins to drop. I can’t wait to try this out with a peachy gloss, a swipe of champagne shadow, and lots of mascara for a natural, pretty daytime look.

As a nail polish lover, I’m always extra excited to received polishes that I have never tried before, especially if they are in seasonally-appropriate shades. This beautiful dusty rose polish from NAILS INC in the colour Uptown is the perfect shade to help transition from summer to fall. I can’t wait to try this polish and love how it’s work appropriate and will complement any outfit.

The other two products in the September box refresh skin and promote a natural glow.
The Revitalizer from Biossanse uses a plant-dervied squalane to combat dull skin and replenish its youthful radiance. Although it’s a facial moisturizer, it can be used all over the body, even on hair. This product sounds promising and I look forward to seeing what it can do for my skin.

Also for skin is the Coffea Coffee Scrub which uses natural ingredients such as brown sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon to improve dry patches, stretch marks, and poor circulation. I am a big fan of scrubs and try to exfoliate weekly, so I will get a lot of use out of this product.

September 2015 Glossybox 1

Overall, I ready enjoyed the September 2015 Glossybox. In addition to including a range of exciting, on-trend products for fall, it is also a great value. The three cosmetic items are all full size and value at $60 combined, which is a lot more than the cost of the box.

I’m looking forward to seeing what Glossybox has in store for October—my favourite month of the year!
