While browsing through the Writing Beauty nail art archives, I came across this design that I created back in 2011.
Around that time, I was very excited to get my hands on Katy Perry’s new fragrance called Purr since it featured a purple, cat-shaped bottle. I got the gift set which was packaged in a mirror-like silver box adorned with a purple, heart-shaped cat nose and whiskers.
For this nail look, I drew inspiration from the box. The base colour is Sally Hansen Chrome Nail Makeup in Black Pearl. The paw prints, hearts, and whiskers are OPI Plugged-In Plum. The look is simple yet eye-catching due to the bold colour combination.
